- 1 tbsp Sichuan chili bean paste (Doubanjiang)
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tsp Shaoxing wine (optional)
- 1/2 tsp five-spice powder
- 1/2 tsp ground Sichuan peppercorns
- 1 green onion, finely chopped

Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix sesame paste, soy sauce, black vinegar, chili oil, Sichuan pepper oil, garlic, ginger, sugar, and hoisin sauce (if using). Stir until smooth. Add water as needed to complete a pourable regularity.
